Construction

Site work, hardscape, concrete, and ground-up construction — from a backyard retaining wall to a full commercial buildout.

Overview

Construction Service Group runs ground-up and site-improvement work for commercial properties, HOAs, and municipal clients across the DMV. We self-perform the heavy scopes — earthwork, concrete, hardscape, and structures — so the schedule, the budget, and the punch-list answer to one project manager instead of a chain of subs. From the first survey stake to final closeout documentation, you deal with the people actually doing the work.

What's Included

The full
scope of work.

One crew, one contract, and the equipment to self-perform the work that matters. Here's what we handle in-house.

01 /

Site Work & Grading

Clearing, excavation, cut-and-fill, soil stabilization, and rough-to-finish grading. We move dirt to spec and stake it to survey.

02 /

Concrete & Flatwork

Footings, foundations, slabs, curb-and-gutter, sidewalks, and ADA-compliant ramps — formed, poured, and finished by our own crews.

03 /

Hardscape

Pavers, segmental walls, stone, and architectural concrete that hold up to commercial traffic and DMV freeze-thaw cycles.

04 /

Retaining Walls

Engineered gravity, segmental, and reinforced walls for grade changes, slope failures, and load-bearing site conditions.

05 /

Drainage

Storm structures, underdrain, and detention coordinated with civil plans and local jurisdictions.

06 /

Commercial Buildouts

Pad sites, additions, and ground-up shells managed end to end — permitting, scheduling, subs, and inspections.

How We Work

No surprises.
Just a process that holds.

  1. 01

    Site Walk & Scope

We walk the property with you, review civil and architectural plans, and flag the constraints that move budgets — access, soils, utilities, drainage.

  2. 02

    Estimate & Schedule

A line-item proposal with a real schedule attached. No allowances we can't defend, no dates we don't intend to hit.

  3. 03

    Mobilize

Permits pulled, materials staged, equipment on the ground, and a single project manager assigned as your point of contact.

  4. 04

    Build

Self-performed crews working to spec with photo logs and progress reporting at every milestone — not a surprise at the end.

  5. 05

    Closeout

Punch-list walked together, as-built documentation delivered, and the site left clean and inspection-ready.

Do you handle permitting and inspections?

Yes. We pull the permits, schedule the inspections, and coordinate with the jurisdiction so approvals don't stall the schedule. You get the documentation as part of closeout.

Will you work from our engineer's or architect's plans?

Absolutely. We build to your civil and architectural drawings, flag any conflicts during preconstruction, and coordinate directly with your design team through the project.

What size projects do you take on?

Anything from a single retaining wall or concrete repair up to ground-up commercial pad sites and full site packages. If it's site, structure, or hardscape, it's in our lane.

How do you keep projects on schedule?

By self-performing the heavy scopes and assigning one project manager who owns the schedule. Materials are staged ahead of crews, and progress is reported at every milestone so problems surface early.

Let's get to work

Have a site to build?

Send us the plans or just the address. We'll walk it, scope the work, and get a real number and schedule on your desk.
